VTJS17_Fire Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hi folks, is it possible to trigger any actions only to CA clients? I know, that CA clients don't have a "exclusive" group or unit, so I think it's not possible at the moment. If you know another way/ trick to trigger a action to a CA client only, please share it. Thanks in advance. sorcer3r Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Trigger via F10 radio item? Maybe possible via "add radio item to country". For example: ground forces = german, A10Cs = US , Ka50 = russian. If "add ratio item to germany" then only CA clients should see them. (I have not tried it yet myself) [sIGPIC]http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/b582/sorcerer17/sorcf16-b_zpsycmnwuay.gif[/sIGPIC]

Anyway, it is possibile using MIST. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
VTJS17_Fire Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Trigger via F10 radio item? Maybe possible via "add radio item to country". The F10 radio item function is functional. But dou to the mission design, it's not possible to use only German ground units. But I'll give it a try, though. EDIT: There is no "radio item add for country" option. Only "for all", "for coalition" and "for group". You can only trigger messages to countries. EDIT: Tested, doesn't work. +1 for Sorcer3r. Do you know the function? kind regards, Fire Edited April 18, 2015 by VTJG17_Fire Hardware: Intel i5 4670K | Zalman NPS9900MAX | GeIL 16GB @1333MHz | Asrock Z97 Pro4 | Sapphire Radeon R9 380X Nitro | Samsung SSDs 840 series 120GB & 250 GB | Samsung HD204UI 2TB | be quiet! baltic_dragon Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I don't think F10 will work unless you enter A10, a Huey or something. What I have done - but it would work only for GM - to place a tank somewhere surrounded by trucks. When I need certain trigger I would shoot a truck corresponding to it (having before set up flags associated with 'unit dead'). Not perfect, but working and fun to do :) For more information, please visit my website. chromium Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Well: 1) I misunderstood the question. I was thinking about sending a message only to a CA user, and with MIST is possibile. Dunno about triggering an action... you may surely can creating a script, but I don't know if MIST already has that fuction. Instead, you could send a F10 radio menù command to a specific group, and this could be a ground unit.. Check attachment 2) the F10 radio menu works with CA player, you can simply add a radio item for a coalition or a specific group, and when you are in you can trigger any events on.TESTradioAddForCA.miz Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. VTJS17_Fire Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Yes and thanks. I already decided to use this solution, which works great.
