uniform Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfurst Does this package include campaign missions? I do not play multiplayer games. I know the P51 is more directed towards online play. and has simple campaigns. I am looking more for campaigns like in A10C or KA50 which are kind of story line or at least many challenging ones. DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora Same question. If there are campaigns, are they detailed like KA-50 or A-10C or simple like P-51. Does DCS: UH-1H Huey by Belsimtek have a clickable mouse? DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight by Belsimtek Does this have a clickable mouse and story line campaigns? DCS: Black Shark 2 Is the campaigns the same as Black Shark 2 or different?

Same with the Huey campaign.

So far, the Bf.109 campaign is fairly limited. Multiplayer is where the REAL fun is at, though... especially with WW2 modules. Same for the FW190. I think we'll have to wait for the Normandy map before we have any "real" single-player campaign. The Huey and Mi-8 both have clickable cockpits. The Huey and the Mi-8 campaigns are great. You really feel like a pilot coming to save the day. They are my favourite DCS campaigns so far. Both the Huey and the Mi-8 are must-have modules if you have even a slight interest in helicopters. I don't understand your question for the Black Shark 2 though... Black Shark 2 is the same as Black Shark 1, only multiplayer-compatible. The Ka-50's campaign is also a lot of fun. Understand your confusion with my last question about the KA-50. I meant was the campaign the same as KA-50 1. So since I don't play multi-player, version 2 would not be a good buy for me since I already have 1.xx? So no single player action in WWII until Normandy maps. Do you know if that is something being considered, developed or a potential release date? Thank-you all for your feedback. Now I know what I am going to be purchasing. I love helicopters; so I will be purchasing the Huey and Mi-8 Oh, and BTW Kontiuka, if I want to turn the aircraft on the tarmac, it is a good idea to activate the nose wheel steering lol.

There is pretty much zero difference between Black Shark 1 and Black Shark 2 single-player wise. About SP WWII: The second we get a WWII theater, I would bet you a hundred beers that the community will come up with some of the best missions you've ever seen. The mission editor certainly has that potential. Normandy map will not come before DCS World 2.0, NTTR map (which will come after DCS 2.0) and Straits of Hormuz map (which will come after NTTR). So, once DCS 2.0 is out, NTTR is out and Hormuz is out, THEN we get Normandy. There is no precise date yet since DCS 2.0 only has an estimated release date set to "somewhere in 2015... hopefully". If you want to learn about the Huey, I suggest you read this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=143684 My favourite mission for the Huey is "Mount Elbrus Rescue". Really challenging. You'll know why when you try to climb to the mountain top :D Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Chuck's Guides on Mudspike Chuck's Youtube Channel Chuck's Patreon

I would expect to see at least in the back ground the USS Dwight D Eisenhower and the French Charles de Gaulle? I could put WWII on hold for that.
ED Team NineLine Posted June 7, 2015 ED Team Posted June 7, 2015 I wouldnt say there is no Single player content either for the WWII stuff, its just a little out of sorts with no era specific help. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

kontiuka Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I've been having a blast with the P-51 in SP for the past couple of months. Just sayin.

Oh the dogfights are the best part of WW2 planes like the Mustang... IMHO they are just like the Huey: flying it is a blast because the flight model is just so merciless. The Ka-50's campaign is also a lot of fun. not 100% sure, but i guess it should be noted, that BS2 gets further patched, and i think BS1 is not. and you might want to consider the ability to fly the shark in DCS2.0 and the new maps. regards, RR [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "There's nothing to be gained by second guessing yourself. msalama Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 a blast with the P-51 in SP Likewise. There're Korea & Vietnam mods available, install those and you've got a perfect pseudo-Korean groundpounding sandbox to play in! Then buy the Sabre & the Fagot for some dogfighting fun and you're sorted :) The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
King_Hrothgar Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Features of BS2 that BS1 does not have: 1) Not sure on this first one but I think BS2 has 5 additional campaigns over BS1, those being 4 incarnations of Georgian Oil War and Operation Medvedev. 2) Improved flight model 3) Improved graphics (both for the Ka-50 and the world around it) 4) Compatibility with DCS2 when it is released 5) Compatibility with all other DCS modules, thus you don't have to exit the game and start a different game to change planes. 6) User content support, most importantly HD cockpit textures by Ricardo.
