Kuky, can you see black stripes at sound output visualization bars while testing with DCS mission running?

See example screenshot here

Yes, I see those lines, and test sound plays fine

Do you mean, you feel kicker bumps while test sound plays?
yes I do

Great

Please restart the Sound Module to clear the visualization bars,

start SimShaker for DCS World

and try landing gear Up/Down at DCS World any FC3 plane.

It's very close to Test Sound Play button effect.

Can you feel kicker bumps and/or see black lines at the bars?

erm... now it worked... what the hell

Yes, I got buttkicker shake on landing gear up and down, also for cannon fire

Alright, one worry less... is this supposed to work in Testers version of DCS also or just for public DCS version?

I don't now yet what the hell, but I'm very glad! ..

What about some runway bumps and gun firing?

Runway bumps no, gun firing yes (and very strong for gun firing)

I use it in Testers version of DCS, no problem, save 'Critical AoA shudders' effect.

But with some export bugs fixed :)

Runway bumps no at all? Hmm... strange...

Try to move Gain % sliders, and for gun firing too.

I'll try increasing the gain for the effect I don't get, I have reduced gun firing to -27. I guess it's just matter of little time to tweak gain values for each effect to balance them out.

At least I got it working now... thanks for your help.

Hi Andrey,

I can confirm I have runway bumps vibration, I just turned up the Buttkicker a little more.

Hello,

I tested with the Bf 109 and all things on - Hawg touch, DCS Bios with 5 Unos and your software. I got all running and withaou any felt performance drop. I didnt get the Canon sound but I will try tomorow.

Great feeling

Is the runway/taxiway bumps the "4. Ground jolts and buffets" effect?

I just did one flight with Su-25A and I got buttkicker shake on touchdown only (but it was bit rough landing) and I still don't get any shakes while taxing, or rolling on runway while taking off or landing. I even turned this effect to +50% gain and still no shake while taking/rolling on runway for me.

Hmm... Let me think a bit. May be I should make sound files stronger for this effect.

The kick while touching down is quite strong at +50% gain. maybe there is not enough "bumps" on runway/taxiway to trigger this effect like touching down does?

Nope. DCS World's bumps are not relevant to runway plates. They rather correspond to ground surface under the plates. So I do not use Gy oscillations for those bumps, just for touching down kick.

Ok, I'll wait with 'testing' until the software is officially released :-D

PS: Are you using prerecorded sounds files or an algorithmic solution? If you use a algo, you could also try (later) the generate an android app using the vibrator of a phone... Connecting a device through network with DCS is quite simple...

Hi Andre,

Great work so far!

I have managed to get my Buttkicker working whilst in game.

The runway effects feel like a intermittent jolt (as I pass over each new piece of concrete) without in between vibrations. Is that correct?

The gear raising/lowering starts with a big bump. Then no vibrations. Then a big bump as the gear locks at the end. Am I missing in between vibrations?

The A10C guns firing makes my chair explode compared to the other sounds :D

Testing continues... :)

Cheers,

Smirkza

Hi smirkza,

it's a very good news, man!

Sorry, I dont understood "without in between vibrations" here. What does this mean?

No, I think, you are not missing. It's by design.

The A10C guns firing makes my chair explode compared to the other sounds :D

Set Gain Level slider to about minus 27%. The effects are not balanced yet.

Testing continues... :)

Keep going, thanks for your feedback ))
