Does anyone know active air force bases and which squadron serves on them from 1990 up to date? This is very important for me to create a as realistics as possible missions or/and campaigns. I'm most courious about Krasnogvardivskoye... There is no signs of life on the satelite photos from "Google Earth". Also I must say there is no Rozdolnoye AFB anymore on sat. photos. Many airbases structures are recreated far from truth (ex. Belbek, Sevastopol). Maybe someone should take care with this case...

Yeah! You're right. It seems to be offline :( . But that is a good direction - it can be found only on the russian sites. Unfortunately I don't speak russian ("Ja nie paniemaju pa ruski":P ).

In any case, i had a look at the page few weeks ago, and here's the main airdefence stuff (from my memorty):

S300 sites at Novorossiysk and Sevastopol and a BUK site at Krasnodar.

There's also BUK site at Yeysk, but that doesn't offer us too much. I have marked a S300 site to Rostov aswell, but i'm not 100% sure about it..

Current:

  • Belbek:: 204 Fighter Aviation Brigade (Ukr): MiG-29, MiG-29UB
  • Kirovskoye:: 168 Flight Test Complex (Ukr): Various aircraft. Includes the MiG-29s of the "Ukrainian Falcons" aerobatic demonstration team (currently inactive).

Most of the current Ukrainian Order of Battle is based on the Ukrainian "mainland".

Not much help but perhaps a little.

The order of battle lists all of the military districts including the North Caucasus district.

Great link but I can't believe they don't have Ukrainean airforce listed.

....nl/ru.htm (not html). That is a useful site, after checking out the North Caucasus District, dont forget to also choose the "Units Abroad" when choosing a military District as the Crimea bases and Gaudata (Georgia) are not in Russia.
