btaft Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I have seen a few posts on how to move the kneeboard for the Huey but they seem to be referencing an earlier version of the huey or and don't seem to work for me or I am doing something wrong. I have been successful moving the MFDs for the black shark and A-10 along with repositioning the Autopilot text and the weapon status but cant figure out the kneeboard. Any help or direction is appreciated. Thanks
zaelu Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 you can use Kneeboard Builder program by AlaskanGrizzly http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129341&highlight=kneeboard+builder [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
zaelu Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Be advised that at update or repair DCS World will move your modified files in a backup folder inside DCS World folder. Either redo your modifications with the software above or put back the modified files from the backup. btaft Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 I used the program to move and resize the kneeboard onto my second monitor. You are able to reposition the radio panels?
Joni Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 honestly i was planning to but didnt get my second monitor yet... so it is not possible? DieHard Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Be advised that at update or repair DCS World will move your modified files in a backup folder inside DCS World folder. Either redo your modifications with the software above or put back the modified files from the backup. I put my mods in my JSGME. If it is necessary, sometimes, I remove the original path and keep it in a dedicated My Documents stash as backup, but most of the time my loaded right column mods just overwrite what is already there. Anyway, all I have to remember to do when an update patch occurs is to move all my loaded mods to the left column so nothing gets corrupted. Will this procedure work for you in this case? zaelu Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 The modified files I was talking are not JSGME mod but are the files (I think one?) modified by the application Kneeboard Builder. It is way simpler to just copy back the modified files or to simply redo the settings within app. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
