wolf5 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Autopilot More than a real Autopilot, the Gazelle features a SAS (Stability Augmentation System) This feature is simulated as well in the module, and follows the real functions. It should be "less than a real AP" as SAS is not a real AP. It only help to maintain aircraft attitude. Also 342M have PA 85G which can maintain and correct the attitude of the aircraft. People fly planes, pilots fly helicopters
zaelu Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 "Not really" fits even better. But some languages have all sorts of little word plays :D that when they are translated in English they get contorted. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
Pat01 Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Sorry Wolf, I'm not an English native I agree, I should have say "less than a real Autopilot" :)
wolf5 Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 It was a joke. I don´t care about this. I just would like to see PA 85G instead of SAS. Like in real. As you know, i could help you. People fly planes, pilots fly helicopters
Paradox Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Does the PA85G work like the not-quite-autopilot in the Mi-8 whereby it holds attitude/ altitude for you?
sorcer3r Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I assume that most of the time the SAS/ PA 85G is on standby when the pilot wants to have some fun? ;) [sIGPIC]http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/b582/sorcerer17/sorcf16-b_zpsycmnwuay.gif[/sIGPIC]
