razo+r Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I tried several times, i use my keyboard for the rudders, but they doon't work, but my rudders are working with every other module, any ideas what to do?
scottb613 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Hi... I'm really new around here - but what keys are your rudder (tail rotor) mapped to ? Are they a single key press or does it include a modifier (alt, ctrl, shift)... Regards, Scott
1.JaVA_Platypus Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Controlling the rudder (or the tail-rotor as it is commonly called with helicopters) would be far easier with some kind of rudder pedals/axis control. But IIRC, the default keys for the rudder should be "Z" and "X". If not, try to assign them manually in the keybindings. Maybe you should also look into the axis assignments and be sure to delete any entries that you do not need. Because DCS wordl assigns every axis control automatically and does a horrible job. If you got a new module, you are far better off deleting all the assignments for the axis and assigning them yourself. Happy Flying! :pilotfly:
razo+r Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 I have deleted the assignement from my Joystick and i deleted and reset the X to X and Y to Y, still doesn't work
Cibit Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) Check in special tab in options, there is a rudder trim check box IIRC this may be the problem, otherwise I would suggest deleting the inputs folder for the huey. It can be found in Users/saved games/dcs/Config/Inputs/Uh-ih/inputs Dunno how you will manage to fly a helicopter using keyboard though:joystick:Good luck:) Edited August 14, 2015 by Cibit i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
razo+r Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 I have a Joystick, but my Rudder on it is broken so ... thanks i'll try and about special settings, rudder trim was on and i disabled it, no difference but thanks
razo+r Posted August 14, 2015 Author Posted August 14, 2015 Nope, i deleted the joystick, keyboard ... folder but the rudder stayed in the middle, didn't helped. and just to say, with my old computer it worked but now no more
Destroyer37 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Check your Axis tab in the control options for the Huey. If that doesn't work verify that your trim is set to its neutral position and verify under the special tab that rudder trim is checked.
