msalama Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but as a dedicated Huey driver it annoys me to no end to eat a SAM from a blind angle because my crew doesn't warn me  So how about making it possible for the flightcrew to announce direct threats just like (some of) the wingmen do? Preettee pleeze guys  EDIT: added the "some of" Edited August 28, 2015 by msalama The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
Slazi Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Yup. Crew need to do stuff. Spot targets, waypoints etc. I wrote a huge post on this, but it got lost and I couldn't be bothered to type it again.

WelshZeCorgi Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 +1 it certainly would add to the immersion in singleplayer campaigns and decrease the headache of trying to find real players to be your copilot... I myself know no one that is as interested as I am in playing at this level of simulation and even if they were, they'd hate playing second fiddle in the cockpit.
QuiGon Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I don't think the Huey will get it, but the F-14 will indeed have that kind of AI crewmember (Jester AI) who will act more like a human and call out threats and even pant (high G) and scream. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
