grunf Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 AI MiG-21 can detect airborne targets from more than 40km away. Not only is this beyond its radar range, but according to the RWR in my Su-27 the radar was off until we closed the distance to less than 20km.
EagleFox Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Hmm why am I not suprised? Those AI are cheating long time ago just let them.
WinterH Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I think this may be a shared trait among AI aircraft rather than being MiG-21 specific. They just magically see you :). Wishlist: F-4E Block 53 +, MiG-27K, Su-17M3 or M4, AH-1F or W circa 80s or early 90s, J35 Draken, Kfir C7, Mirage III/V DCS-Dismounts Script
grunf Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 Hmm why am I not suprised? Those AI are cheating long time ago just let them. Not all AI planes cheat like this. So far I only caught Mig-21 and F-86. :D There are also some planes that are pretty blind...
Manuel_108 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 There are also some planes that are pretty blind... Out of interest, which ones are "blind"?
Darkwolf Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I already got reports from AI wingman about 100km+ targets :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Also....Join the largest DCS community on Facebook :pilotfly:
grunf Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Out of interest, which ones are "blind"? MiG-15. In one of my tests it didn't spot MiG-21 until it was 500m away . It usualy detects at few kms. I already got reports from AI wingman about 100km+ targets :D Which plane?
