skinnadoor Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) I have most of the modules for DCS however I'm trying to decide weather or not to get the MIG-15 or the C101 Aviojet. Which aircraft would I have the best experience with? jvanhoog Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Was not too interested in the MIG at first but bought it. It is an amazing module. Would buy again.

Which aircraft would I have the best experience with? CheersI enjoy the Aviojet but not much to do with it until the AFM comes out and the armed CC version comes out. It's good for spinning around in it though. Low level flying is a blast. And you can also practice IFR navigation.

I have bought three separate times and still never saw any way to take advantage of the $ savings that I earned from previous buys. GaryIKILLYOU Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I personally grabbed the C-101, it's not too bad for a WIP beta. After coming from months in the MiG-21 it's a foreign experience to deal with the SFM though. If you haven't gotten the MiG-21 I'd recommend the C-101 simply because if the Devs for it hold true then you're getting a much better value. I love the MiG-15, don't get me wrong, but it's honestly a one trick pony. My Specs:Win 10 Pro 64bit/ i7 6770K 4.5Ghz/32GB DDR4/ GTX 1070 SC/Samsung SSD Warthog Stick/TWCS Throttle/TrackIR 5

vicx Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) The C-101 cockpit has a lot of charm - it has a cool cockpit in my opinion. I also enjoy that the version in the current module doesn't have a HUD or gunsight - so you can just look out through the front of the canopy an enjoy the view - which is a novelty for a jet in DCS. This is quite a chilled out jet amongst all the straight up murdering machines in the game. It is good to have just for that unique aspect. I still don't have the Mig-15 but I decided not worry about it. If I wanted to go online and shoot at people right now, I would totally get the Mig-15 and then go online and shoot really big bullets at people. I think there's more to the module - but that is what I will want to do with it when the time comes. Edited September 7, 2015 by vicx
skinnadoor Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 Hey gents... Thanks for the help, I went with the MIG15 ! What a history this beast has......and what great old girl to fly. Nailed my first landing and on my 2nd...bounced hard 3 times then had to eject. Great attention to detail on the Dev team for this bird.
