diditopgun Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Good morning ! I've noted that moon light comes from the wrong direction. When the moon is in front of me my dashboard is illuminated. When the moon is in my back the dashboard is dark and my ejection sit is illuminated. Same effect is visible on all external models. NVG render at night looks very ugly on canopy reflections, sky and clouds. Near the horizon, light-to-dark gradation has clearly visible steps, as if too much video compression was applied. GTX970, driver version 353.62, DCS OpenBeta 1.5 Hotfix 3, Win 7 64. Bourrinopathe Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 landing lights should be seen from miles away. I perfectly agree. It has always bothered me the lights have such a low visibility. It should definitely be improved for a better and more realistic navigation. From what I remember tweaking the particle effects in other rendering engines it may be related to the maximum "flare particle effect" rendering distance.
