=Mac= Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 What are the turning rates at cornering speeds per 5,000 feet up to 15000 and what are the cornering speeds at each? The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...
Jorik Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Upcoming Video and Q&A by Wags - Oct 18th 2015 - M-2000C by RAZBAM questions ... Will the Mirage have a seat adjustment switch like the A10c? They use it in real life when they come in for landing to increase the forward visibility. And will we have an auto land function? (I'm not sure if the mirage 2000c has this ability). I found a nice article about landing the Mirage2000. http://thesaurix.blogspot.be/2014/11/googleadclient-ca-pub-9501299694747389.html?m=1 "In fact, the Concorde also had this problem, solved ingeniously by deliberately drooping the nose so that the pilot could see what was ahead. In the Mirage 2000, you had to raise your seat fully and change the display on the HUD to what is called the approach mode, which had a landing-oriented but totally different set of symbols on display. Landing after these two actions then became as easy as in the daytime. Rain was a problem, because, even in a drizzle, forward visibility reduced to zero! " Thanks for taking the time to answer all of our questions. ED Team Wags Posted October 17, 2015 ED Team Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) Hey all, Sorry, but DCSW2 is acting up and I won't be able to create the news video this weekend. I should be able release the next Video News and Q and A on 25 October 2015. We have more than enough questions now, so we are going to lock the thread.
