Hi gang,

I am in the process of setting up my Warthog controllers for DCS 1.50. Previously, I would use the TARGET software for my flight sims, but with the great controller setup menu in DCS I thought I would go ahead and change over to setting them up in the game GUI menu.

I have got the basic controls set up for the Black Shark. Due to some major health issues, my memory is lacking. It is much harder for me to remember my button layouts than it used to be.

I know I can export my controller setup to an HTML file, which is nice - but the downside is , it lists all commands whether they are assigned or not, and is not an easy quick reference for my controller setup. It lists the button numbers, but I can not remember which buttons are which numbers. I would love to have a list of just my controller button assignments. Or even ideally to have a graphical layout of the Warthog throttle and stick, showing those assignments, that I could keep on my desk for quick reference.

So my question is, would there be a not too complicated way for me to accomplish this?

Thanks for any tips,

Don B

I don't have a suggestion for the easiest way to create a chart. I have a list for each aircraft I fly with the command...key command and then TMWH command. e.g. for the F15

Collision Light........RALT+L.........Pinky Switch Aft

I alphabetize the chart and use it when flying that aircraft. It doesn't take that much work since I'm only using a limited number of commands.

Gotcha, that may be the best way for me to accomplish what I want. Thanks for the feedback!

I created a layout program for the warthog which consists of 3 forms(windows), being stick, throttle and throttle base. You enter your own action description into textboxes that are labelled and assigned to each button/POV on the stick/throttle.

There are three textboxes per button for 3 modes.

You can print or save as image. Also the profile can be saved.

If you are interested I will upload and post link.

If you have word 2010, take a few photos of your hotas, then enter "Design Mode" then place arrows from each button and end with a text box. Once done, restrict users from editing and save. Now you have a form you can fill and print out.

If you have word 2010, I can do it for you. PM if interested.

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

@dburne

I created, but never finished, these a while back. They were done in MS Visio. I can post the charts without labels in a variety of formats, if you are interested.

Btw, the masters are not cropped this tight. Converting to JPG does that, for some reason.

That would be great if you could convert them in blank either to Word or Paint or MS paint.

That will help, thanks!

Guys, thanks so much for all the kind offers, I think for me I can get by with what I have - don't have much on my pc like word, or a spreadsheet program.

I really appreciate it gang!!
