Bourrinopathe Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 No more russian stick until they release that sexy PAK FA inspired goodness… around 2020 ^^ Those who now almost own the Cobra/Su-34-like stick can feel lucky ;) I even asked for a stick alone (for wild modding intentions) but it was already out of stock. The complete FBM MkIII had the highest priority. /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
RFC Rudel Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 No more russian stick until they release that sexy PAK FA inspired goodness… around 2020 . Bourrinopathe Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I meant "modern" russian design, sorry I forgot that detail ;) The KG12 is going to be a fantastic grip. No doubt. And with "modern" clickable hats. /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
rrohde Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Really intrigued by any VKB throttle now... isn't there any more info floating around? Like a mock-up or so? Especially the mentioning of "2 throttle designs" got me interested. Maybe one for WWII Warbirds, and one for the DCS modern jet crowd? PS - I love your avatar, Bourrinopathe! rrohde Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 UPDATE (01.12.2015): This pre-order for Black Mamba III with Cobra grip is closed now. It will be a possibility to order limited amount of Black Mamba bases with TM Warthog adaptor or with Gladiator grip. That seems to only pertain to the European VKB distributer, not the NA one. rrohde Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 No more russian stick until they release that sexy PAK FA inspired goodness. But that thing *is* really being made, right? Bourrinopathe Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I'm pretty sure the whole VKB thing started with a "what-if"! So… It can only happen. Sokol1_br Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Since this Cobra grip is done for other brand, done not in regular production but in turns, this model for other brand don't sold well (long history in "Rip" Sukhoi forum) - since is restrict to CIS market, probable the stock of grips ran out... VKB have good products, but dont have visibility on the market, their RDRXXI rudder pedal have the production stopped due low interest. The RDRXXII should be a kind of Force Feedback pedals, but the development was interrupted... They are bet on Gladiator and the IL-BoS WWII Combat Flight Game "hype" (that dont take-off well) to position themselves in the global market... But they need a grip option with more buttons for the "Jets" people... This PAK-FA is long term project, and probable will be a metal one like KG-12 - a expensive product for a niche in a niche, is not the solution to actual days...
Redacuragsr Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I wish they would sell just the Grips that you could put on your warthog. That flanker design is awesome.

Sokol1_br Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) stop wining sokol1:lol: I am not wining, I know VKB history since 2004, until now they dont know how make his good products reach the target market properly. rrohde Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I don't think that Sokol1 is whining; it's always nice to hear some additional background info on VKB, especially for me, since I only recently discovered their products and I am already a "fan" of what they're offering. So, for me - the more information is available, the more informed us simmers will be. So, Sokol1, I always appreciate your information that you've gathered over the years in the various Russian-speaking forums for us. :) PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com

How I found VKB and what was my initial impression I discover VKB last year and assume I was a gamer’s community project and I announce my interest and my resources to join the project. My proposal was wrong when I realize that where working since 2004……..I was shock that I was not aware of VKB…..having play simulators all my life and almost start a similar project. Was VKB whiteout proper marketing/community on purpose? I play DCS and read the forum…., I play janes ww2 fighters from release day!!! Why I was not aware of VKB? Why they do not have a proper user community? At first VKB almost look like an early access game……. No centralized place for information No week/month updates Untrusted potential customers To get info about VKB it was needed to red like 7 forums……….and also read the users lack of believe/untrustetc. But I have more than excellent response from VKB to my emails…..and that excellent commitment and personal experience was pure luck, the email was so late that I read it by pure luck. The info of the projects is treated like the Manhattan project......even after sing a nda sokol1 is my primary source of information. Some days working and sharing ideas are mind blowing, other days you simple you try not to exploit in frustration.............they must fell the same :) they have a plan Edited December 4, 2015 by RFC Rudel

Since VKB have no marketing whatsoever (it may be by design) have great products and a competition that is ready to be overrun, success is almost hard to avoid. People will google VKB….. a nice touch will be no broken links on the sites….. jajajjajajajajaja I design a marketing strategy, prepare de server for dataminig of the sites and emails.............and they change dates, names , products.......all the research and work Pluf, jajjajajajajaj 14 months ago my email when I was a future customer only, they offer me one of the few king cobra they have a 380 US I ask for pictures and manuals, link to 4 pictures in a free picture site, no manual in English. lock today at VKB, worldwide resellers, no more post whit fear about VKB, the post are about the new producs and what came next Yes they cant everyone happy (special sokol1) but if they keep going like this they will have a great future (and I a heart attack) Edited December 4, 2015 by RFC Rudel

RFC Rudel Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 one thing must be resolved. the use of a extensions to implement twist. I think It could be made very short pro line require rudder, that's a no deal for many. imagine if rudders are out of stock...... That kill part the flexibility and scalability of the system.
