They're leftovers from 1.2.xx, as the 3D mesh of the map and the way the trees are put on the terrain didn't change. I wouldn't hold my breath for seeing these small glitches fixed anytime soon.

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

They're related with that map, not v1.5 engine. I don't think they will fixed...

Well, it is a pretty common bug. Basically every wooded area on hills seems to have them. I hope they will be fixed as they are pretty immersion killing in particular for helicopter flying.

 

These floating trees, three in the front and one in the distance were photographed / screen-shot south-east of Poti.
