domini99 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Also, quite a lot of roads are floating above the mountains. They don't take the same shape as the mountain an just float in mid air Verstuurd vanaf mijn XT1068 met Tapatalk
rrohde Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I noticed that there seems to be a much shorter LOD draw distance. Maybe EDGE would have drawn a LOD2 type 3D object here, but the older Caucasus map doesn't have those? OP's screenshot seems to be zoomed in from afar, and I believe had he been approaching the dam, a LOD1 object would have popped into view, instead of LOD2 and LOD3 objects being loaded first. I noticed the same behavior when approaching a larger bridge: Instead of loading anything (the bridge wasn't there, even though I was close), the LOD1 3D stuff was loaded one segment at a time. This looked of course awful, because the 3D objects just popped up.
