when i trying to that, tgp goes to the mavercik point, not the maverick to tgp point.

You should make TGP SPI (TMS up long while TGP is SOI) and then slave all sensors to SPI (China hat forward long).

Very good video one thing I'm wondering is how to you target a moving target like a tank moving across a field

When you find the target, TMS forward short when the TGP is over the target until it says POINT. The TGP will attempt to track the target. TMS forward long to SPI then China Hat forward long to slew mav seeker head.

Pre-Setup

i) SLEW: 0.5

ii) HUD Mode: GUN

i) TGP as SOI

ii) Target lock via POINT mode (TMS FWD short)

iii) Make SPI (TMS FWD long)

iv) Make MAV as SOI

v) Slave all to SPI (ChinaHAT FWD long)

vi) Toggle FOV (ChinaHAT FWD short)

a) To lock the ground under the target (
BOATSwitch CENTER
)

b) Track MAV on Target (
TMS FWD short
)

vii) after closing the aim cross à Release Weapon Button (Shout: Rifle)

ok i managed to slave mav to spi. but it doesn't look like mav is locked up. is it automatically locked or do i have to move the seeker over the target in mav mfd?

thanks.

another question, i had watched a video about mavericks in dcs, there is a type of agm 65, which pilot could make adjustments on the target. for example, you targeted a building, then you can target particular window of it. how it's done?

Manual p. 571

Maverick in Force Correlate Tracking Mode

If you need to attack a specific part of a large object (such as a particular window in an office building), you can use force correlate mode with AGM/TGM-65H, AGM/TGM-65G, AGM-65K, and CATM-65K. This mode allows the seeker to create a basic picture of the scene and home in on one specified area of that scene.

To use the Maverick in force correlate mode:

1. Place the Boat Switch in the center position.

2. Slew the tracking gate near the intended target.

3. Ground stabilize the Maverick by pressing TMS Aft Short.

4. Slew the tracking gate over the target and the tracking gate will fully collapse. The Pointing Cross will go steady.

5. You can now launch the Maverick by holding down the weapon release button.

Make the MFD with the mav seeker sensor of interest (Coolie hat <right or left> long) then TMS forward short to lock target. Fire.

this doesnt work for me. At least in 1.5.1 so I dont know if its a bug. I point lock target with TGP. Make it SPI. Make mav my SOI....it goes to target. crosshairs just sit there, no flash. I press tms up short and they dont flash. Are they supposed to flash every single time or do they stay steady when locked to SPI?

If the cross hairs are on the target but you cannot get a lock with TMS forward then you are probably too far given the specific target contrast. First, switch to narrow view ('V' short) and try again. If it still doesn't work then keep flying towards the target and keep trying TMS forward. Eventually you should get a lock (you could be well within the max range of the missile when that happens). Cross hairs should keep flashing continuously when there is a lock.

I tried that with no luck. Does my boat switch have to be forward or back?
