gospadin Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 There's a pair of small triangular sections on the left side of the fuselage that I cannot find. They make up part of the gap between the front and rear "bump" on the left side. Does anyone know where in the texture is used to color those areas? Screenshots attached... First two are from model viewer with the white triangles visible, third picture is from photoshop with the background set to grey. any help would be appreciated thx! GeorgeLKMT Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) I don't have the paintkit for Mi-8 now, but just by looking at the problem, you probably need to fill the gaps with proper color. You shouldn't trust those UV guidelines to be precise down to a single pixel and overlap more. Edited December 13, 2015 by GeorgeLKMT ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
gospadin Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 The blue stripe goes through that lower area, but it doesn't appear on the actual model once instantiated. I'll keep digging, thanks. GeorgeLKMT Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) There you go. You would see it if you saved the texture with the mesh layer visible... Edited December 13, 2015 by GeorgeLKMT ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
