dburne Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 At one point ED sold an upgrade version of BS2, whereas it required an install of the original Black Shark , then you could install it into DCW World as normal. I do not believe they offer that any longer, and only offer the full version of BS2. Really though you would be better off getting the full version, and avoid doing the BS1 to BS2 dance each time you want to do an install of it. They just started a 30% off sale today, would be good time to pick it up. However, a key for that particular piece of software can no longer be purchased. Also, could someone explain to me the logic of needing three DCS World installs? I feel like I am doing the Habookie-Dance. I have the Modules: Black Shark Mig-21 Mirage 2000 A-10C Mig-15 F-86 So Black Shark only works with 1.2? Mirage 2000 only works with 1.5? Everything else can work with 2.0? Both 1.5 and 2.0 are test beds, for what will eventually become the final release DCS 2.0. Black Shark 2 works will all three current versions. Fwiw, I did not have to enter any of my serial numbers, the module manager took care of downloading my purchased content and applying the serials for me. Ya and I've noticed the 2.0 beta only has Nevada scenery. Correct, currently 2.0 is being used to test the new Nevada terrain which is in Alpha stage. That will eventually change. Then I can't install Mig-15 to 1.5 Beta, only 1.2. I do not own the Mig-15 , but do not see where it says it is only for 1.2? 1.5 Open Beta is basically 1.2 updated with the new Edge graphics engine. 2.0 Open Alpha is the same Edge graphics engine with the new Nevada DLC terrain being tested. At some point, 1.2 will go away, and the rest will be merged into a 2.0 final release version. Have you tried using the updater to force install the latest version of the module in 1.5? IMO they need to stop calling everything under the sun "Beta" and move things proper to 1.5 or 2.0.
