Hello,

The radio navigation for the L-39 is good but is it not possible to have more RSBN channels with all airfields of DCS ?

Because just 4 RSBN it's not perfect for the L-39 navigation...

Thanks, Skull

Well, it´s the reality. Not all airfields have VOR/DME, TACAN and ILS in the west for example.

You can use the manual mode of the RSBN.

I can fly in the NTTR without RSBN and with only one NDB for example. You only have to study the map and take a few notes regarding Bearing and Distance.

You could edit beacons.lua to add RSBN, but as was said above, it's not realistic.

This is essentially what Leatherneck did with the MiG-21 (implement a custom list of RSBN stations)

Thanks for this tips but as you write it's realistic.

Thanks again, Skull.

RSBN was a mobile system and it could have been redeployed to another airfield if needed. So the original request is quite realistic.

Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

Yes, the best solution would be make a "RSBN Station", a "TACAN Station" (that is a mobile system too) and a "PRMG Station" like an objects in the ME with associated frequencies.

But you don't need a map full of radio beacons to achieve a satisfactory navigation in an airframe of the 60's and 70's.

So in the interim I prefer the solution that we 've got nowadays.

Regards.
