Any ETA on next update ?

The issue you have was first noted because of rudder, that less people own.

Which is my point in bringing it up. Some users may be able to dismiss the fact I have to use a keyboard and say I just have to accept it.

But I'm in the same boat as people who don't own pedals, and there are plenty of keybindings that people will want to make even outside of pitch-roll etc. My point is that it is not unexpected that keybindings (of any type) would be necessary.

The way some people respond you'd think I'd turned up with a 15 year old computer running Windows 2000 and demanding to know why it didn't work.

wildcolonialboy, you're blowing this out of all proportions. I understand your frustration, but the devs have already fixed the issue, it will be included with the patch that may be only a couple of days away. Have some patience. :)

Only a few people need rudder and throttle?

sticks have throttles. So yes only a few fly with the throttles.

Rudders is truly missing, but that doesnt stop you from flying the Mirage until the support commes. You can do airstarts, fly and combat. I do agree it is cruely missing, like the other features.

I was well aware it was beta, with all that implies. Lack of keybinding is a major functionality issue that properly falls into the category of alpha. I can't even take off because the throttle doesn't work.

Is there any legal definition of alpha, beta?

I'm not talking about people's expectations or understanding, I'm talking about real law.

Since you're a lawyer I'd be interested to know about it, thanks!

not always rudders

And there you've answered your own question. Not too hard, was it?

There's a reason why every flight sim ever has provided keyboard bindings. As for "reasonable", it would be a complete waste of my time to try to explain the legal considerations that relate to industry practice and how that gives rise to reasonable expectations, so I'll simply put it to you that you're wrong.

You said that it prevent you from flying the Mirage, that is not true. It is not nice not to have rudders mapped, but it doenst stop you from flying.

You cant do certain things? yes unfortunately. But it is a beta and a fix is comming. I can list you other features that I am still expecting and they are NOT comming in the next fix.

You can spare your time explaining. The overwhelming majority fly with sticks. It is fair to assume that reasonable people spending 50 euros on a profuct would behave like 99% of people and use sticks. Rudders are missing, but dont stop you from using this product.

They will come with the very next update. A problem has been identified and subsequently been fixed as soon as possible. That's good customer service in my opinion. There is no reason to make a huge drama out of it. You're beeing angry, because it didn't work out as you have planned and that's totally understandable, but not really reasonable.
