bunraku
Hi I've been trying to film closeups of the CBU-105's in action and every time the tanks start exploding the game is crashing. I've been using them in action myself and had no problem, but this time I am using an AI F-16 to drop one. I am also the the Lctrl+F11 view to get close to the rocket booster phase. As you can see in the video below it crashes every time. I've got a high spec pc and I've dropped these before with no crashes. So I know it's not the PC, but I don't know whether there has been a patch that's caused this or it's the camera angle or something else. I have repaired DCS World so I know it's not that either. Any idea? If the embedded video doesn't work then click on the direct link. Thanks https://youtu.be/ILv5qbhdiaM
EntropySG
Hi, I dont know if that helps, but I flew the mission 'Surrounded' yesterday to practice in the A-10C, and deployed CBU-105s just fine. Cdr84
Having this problem too since last update. Windows says it's effects.dll, I think it was, that is causing it. Has happened to me 2 times when dropping CBU-97 tonight so far. Did not have this problem before the last update. Edit, Here; Edit again; Tried another MP server, crashes anytime you watch the CBU's explode targets on the TGP.DCS Crash Logs.zip Edited January 27, 2016 by Cdr84

Cradle
i flew "surrounded" last night and got three crashes when dropping CBU-105s (the game NEVER crashes otherwise) so i started searching here and found this, but this seems to be a year old thread? if its a known bug it should have been fixed by now? is it just in that in that mission/on some ppls systems that cause it or is it the bombs visual effects itself that is the cause of the crashes? i don´t recall having dropped 105s before so i cant tell unless testing in another mission. if i avoid tracking the explosion with the TGP will i be able to use the bombs then? ----- My life as a child did not prepare me for the fact that the world is full of cruel and bitter things. -Robert Oppenheimer, 1904-1967 TM Warthog Hotas, TM Rudder, Track IR 5 Next Level GT Ultimate V2 Gaming Chair Racing Simulator Cockpit 43" Screen
