Idem, anche se sono più da aerei basati a terra - F-16C mon amour - quando faccio il RIO sul gattone vedere il ponte di volo vivo con la crew che si dà da fare intorno all'aereo è veramente tutta un'altra cosa. :thumbup:

DCS: Supercarrier

 

Most of our effort on the Supercarrier has been focused on creating the 3D environments for the Ready Room, Air Boss Station (PriFly), and the hangar deck. Other tasks for 2021 include plane directors to marshal aircraft to the catapults and off the landing area, the “burble”, deck crew light wands for night operations, unique radio channels for different controllers, and manual LSO control.

io ancora non ho capito pero' in definitiva come siano sfruttabili ....sono visuali di abbellimento? o sono effettivamente cose interattive che fanno qualcosa?

"The 3D Air Boss (PriFly) station will come with the possibility to control deck flood lights, the speed and direction of the carrier, and monitor the PLAT camera. In addition, we will implement launch and recovery operations from the Air Boss (PriFly) via 5MC messages."

 

e, relativamente alla seconda immagine:

 

"The 3D Briefing Room will offer interactive squadron meeting capability. This is particularly interesting for multiplayer action, pre-mission start and for after action review. Our Integrated Voice Chat will also allow real-time coms with your squadron. An interactive map, PLAT camera, Greenie and Kill boards will provide simultaneous online statistics during mission progression. Each pilot seat in the briefing room includes an interactive tablet that will allow you to control the fuelling and arming of your aircraft."

 

Dunque da cosa ho capito si tratta di locali esplorabili e dai quali si può accedere alle nuove funzioni (briefing con i colleghi in multi, LSO ecc...)

Supercarrier Deck Crew - Development Report

 

DCS: Supercarrier has received a number of notable updates to the deck crew that includes improved meshes and geometry tweaks:

  • Plane director “Shooter” model has been edited to include skinning and geometry corrections.
  • Improved mesh and skinning for the hands and gloves.
  • A completely new and anatomically correct skeleton for the hands.
  • The sailor head model has been replaced with a much more realistic one.
  • The airboss model has been improved with improved hands and removed beer belly.
  • Missing Level Of Details (LOD) have been added for all models.
  • All seated and standing poses have been corrected and improved.
  • Fixed excessive bending animation of the legs while walking.
  • Fixed sliding legs.
  • Fixed the intersection of arms and legs.
  • Several new idle animations have been added for a more natural look.
  • Mesh and skinning have been adjusted at the elbow area to reduce the effect of no mass.
  • All the models have been converted to a new version of the skeleton that will provide more natural movements.

DCS: Supercarrier Early Access period work continues. We are working on the following additional features, and we look forward to sharing more information soon.

  • Air Boss station
  • Briefing room
  • Landing Signal Officer (LSO) station with PLAT camera & VR support
  • DCS: Combined Arms integration
  • "Burble" effect
  • Wave off and bolter return to pattern radio messages
  • Functional barricade net

The DCS: Supercarrier module also includes the Russian Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, and the Su-33 Flanker D fighter.

me la sono installata in prova.

al di là degli omini sul ponte, che in effetti aggiungono una coreografia carina al tutto, e la ball visibile più agevolmente in atterraggio, l'illuminazione nottura più curata, cos'altro aggiunge come "gameplay" per un giocatore singolo?

non commento sul modello 3d che a me sta benissimo anche quello della stennis normale.

il prezzo comunque è digeribile e simile al prezzo di qualunque aeroporto per msfs, ma mi chiedo se mi sono perso qualche pezzo di funzionalità che non trovo nel manuale (per inciso, camminare per la portaerei, visitare le salette o fare la pipì virtuale nel bagno virtuale mi interessa zero)

Supercarrier - Development Progress

Over the past six month we have been working on a human motion model with intelligent behavior for infantry and deck crews. We have started with the deck crew, and we will scale it to infantry units. Both logics will receive two new behaviours: Obstacle Avoidance and Dynamic Reroute according to the situation. Re-routing behaviour is based on a path search algorithm with any-angle path planning.

Obstacle Avoidance is based on the Optimal Reciprocal Collision Avoidance (ORCA) method used for holonomic robots with several restrictions on linear and angular speeds, linear acceleration, and discreteness of animation. The first phase of the development is complete and cases must now be considered for when aircraft are passing by, directing aircraft to and from a parking position, avoiding moving aircraft, different states of service and interruptions, etc.

Spettacolo ! Speriamo sistemino l'ACLS, al momento la LSO Platcam non segnala il Descent Rate, Distance e Airspeed costringendoci a mettere un paio di script per simulare le chiamate corrette LSO.

Supercarrier Development Progress

The work is essentially finished on the Greenie board that is connected to the actual LSO station data, which provides live updates during the mission.

We are currently working on the functionality of crew tablets where you will be able to see mission briefings as well as check and change loadouts. In addition, the briefing officer can control the projected picture that is visible on the main screen and choose what to show on the auxiliary TV screen located above his head.
