jester_
0 Rudder 0 Aileron Wish we had elevator trim tabs, but ED has made it pretty clear they think we're retarded so I'm not holding my breath. Besides, it's not like it's impossible to fly the 109 without elevator tabs. Just a bit exhausting for those of use who don't want to modify our sticks with 5 feet of PVC pipe. Anatoli-Kagari9
Same here, (0, 0) And, the more I play DCS's K-4, the more I understand why ( specially after having had the chance to hear the opinion of a real world Bf 109 exhibition pilot ) that it was correct not to make the elevator trim tab adjustable - it would probably bring only performance problems, when less needed :-) Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream... Anatoli-Kagari9
Link? No link, but rather a private exchange of info with one of the pilot's working with the 109 Project at EADS :-) Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream... Schnarre Aggro
0/0 here as well ... as some guys stated as well ... the more i flew it the more i like it and the more i see that it is good like that. Laro
0 Rudder -20 Aileron To me this feels a lot better because i don't have to push the stick to the right all the time when flying longer distances. (flying at 450 Km/h IAS) P.S. I don't understand why ED made the trim tab settings server side.
rel4y
Rudder 0 Aileron -6 Keeps the torque at speeds above 450 kph better under control imo. (flying at 450 Km/h IAS) Have you tried using manuel propeller pitch and cruise settings? It's nearly neutral for me with the standard trim tab setting and 450-480 km/h. I'm using the settings from this post, ATA 1.15, 2000 RPM: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2504599&postcount=96 General discussion about manual vs auto propeller pitch here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=149764 System specs: Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440) Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

With the prop pitch set to automatic it keeps the rpm around 1950-2000 at 1.15 ATA. Oh, and i meant stick to the left, not to the right:blush:

Just a bit exhausting for those of use who don't want to modify our sticks with 5 feet of PVC pipe. yes... but that's why pilot adjustable trim tabs on all axii came about... for getting there and back in cruising mode, or slower/ faster. To reduce pilot fatigue. So if your "fixed" tabs are set, it would have been for cruising speed (at least that's my take) and there used to be a joyconfig file where the "range" (throw) could be adjusted. I recall it was set to default 400 Edited February 1, 2016 by Wolf Rider City Hall is easier to fight, than a boys' club - an observation :P "Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us." - Jefferson "Give a group of potheads a bunch of weed and nothing to smoke out of, and they'll quickly turn into engineers... its simply amazing."
