I think so too as it would allow every one to get the best out of the new graphics engine without fuss. I guess there are a lot of people out there who play DCS and rarely read the forums, they must be wondering how far 1.5 and 2.0 has to go to get back to its normal performance.

In reality a quick Alt + Enter removes most stutter and jerky problems and you are left with a superb upgrade with room for improvement.

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

Is it possible, somehow, to add Alt+Enter to the DCS shortcut ?

Sometime i forget to press Alt + Enter, after i launch the game, like 20 minutes ago.

There was 45 fps and after i pressed Alt + Enter, the fps was 60 constantly ( V-Sync ON )

Hopefully by the time everything gets merged into a final 2.0 version they will fix it so selecting "full screen" in the menu actually translates to true full screen.

Hmmm... I read the forums here and there and just picked up this alt + enter tip... I assume it's a toggle? I have noticed some jerkiness but assumed that was normal since it only occurs in detailed scenery areas. Will have to see if vsync matters as well... Assumption is performance will suffer when on.

yes to the first question, and no to the second.

Frame rates have dropped in recent updates because the graphics have been pushed a little. Dropping the visibility range a notch or two will give you the same rendering you had prior to the step up, and restore your frame rates too.

DCS World is starting to flex it's muscles graphically, that's all.

Alt/Enter is a must, and will only have the single drawback of not letting you alt/tab out to other windows such as Teamspeak. It does definitely give better overall performance and economy to your system.
