pengjn Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I'm learning DCS and have found that the F12 key centres my TrackIR but is meant to be the comms menu command. Do people remap the TrackIR commands and what is commonly used? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk DCS 2.0 NTTR, EVGA GTX980 Ti Hybrid, 4790k, 16GB, 27" Apple Cinema Display, Thrustmaster HOTAS, Saitek Combat pedals, TrackIR 5 and...Oculus Rift CV1. Complete noob .
dburne Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Yes you can remap to some lesser used or not used keys, alternatively you can also map directly to a joystick button as well. I always remap mine to get them off of the Fkeys. bmbpdk Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I use shift + F-key in trackir, works for me Inno3d RTX 2070 Twin X2, ASUS STRIX Z270E Gaming, Intel i7 7700K, 32GB Corsair vengeance, Kingston Hyper X FPS Alloy Cherry MX Red, Logitech G102 Prodigy, Track Ir 5, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder pedals, Beyer Dynamic DT770, Acer CB280HK 4K monitor, Win 10 Pro 64bit
QuiGon Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I use shift + F-key in trackir, works for me Same (e.g. Shift + F12 for centering). Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
cardboard_man Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 The numpad is a good place to map them, its the view control on every aircraft by default but seeing as you have track IR you don't need that anymore.
