Diving back into my passion for flight sims after a long break. I had a very old version of DCS world installed and a few purchases through Steam. Removed everything, did a clean install of DCS World 2.0, transferred and my keys successfully from Steam. I bought the NTTR module and is downloading at this very moment. However, I do not see any other terrain installed for the other aircraft to fly. I thought perhaps that you would have to do a dual install of 1.5 and 2.0? Is this possible and the preferred way to do this? I searched around a bit, but did not see the answer I was looking for. Thanks in advance for any help.

DCS 2.0 is just for NTTR currently while the terrain is in alpha

DCS 1.5 can also be downloaded as a separate install for the Georgian terrain

related question guys,

so i uninstalled my steam 1.5, and installed a standalone 2.0 (alpha) for the NTTR map. I understand you will need to install 1.5 separately for the Black Sea map, how about the activation (or re-activation) of the modules, will you use up an activation for the separate 1.5 install, despite activating it for 2.0?

I have all three installs, legacy 1.5, 1.5 beta and 2.0 alpha, with same planes in each install. I've never been hit with activation penalties.

Keys are tied to account and stored in Win registry, so no matter how many versions/copies of DCS You have installed, You shouldn't be prompted for next activations.

MiG-21 is the only exception, as every now and then it causes activations issues for some users. That isn't normal situation, though.
