addde Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Hello, Im sorry if this has been asked a million times, but is there an ETA on the steam version?
Coxy_99 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 The answer is when its more complete i asked wags on steam forum in dcs.
Zeus67 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 It will be released on Steam as soon as Radar + IFF + INS are ready. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning." "The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."
Voodooflies Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Why does people are still waiting for the Steam version ? Downloading DCS world, buying the module and adding DCS to Steam library has exactly the same effect than getting it straight from Steam. You'll probably fly sooner and get all Steam's functionality at the same time. Moreover, you can get more discounts from ED official website. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

This was possible few month ago, now Steam keys are compatible with standalone DCS but DCS store keys aren't compatible with the steam version...
Dingo_Bob Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 I think what Sacha meant was, use the Standalone and buy modules form the ED store but add DCS to Steam as a shortcut "Add a non steam game to my library" that way you still have Steams functionality but not restricted to waiting for modules to transition to steam [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5

ApoNOOB Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Install standalone version over the steam version for great justice! :) (Might need to delete the config folder & do a repair to get the module manager working)
