Getting graphics freezes now

As the title says. I applied the OB update that was released today, and operating various controls in the L-39ZA gives me freezes now. It's as if the sim stopped executing altogether for half a second every time I trim, and ditto when I lift the gear after takeoff. Anyone else seeing this?

 

Other modules are not affected AFAIK, just the Albie. What gives I wonder?

Yes, I also noticed this - operating trim, raising gear, or moving stick to the extremes causes stutter.

I believe I had freezes on my laptop yesterday when firing rockets, I noticed this late and today I got up early so I didn't dig any deeper into it. Will try to verify this later this evening again on my desktop computer.

Seems like I noticed a few hiccups since the update, but never thought to look into it as I had the computer doing other things while playing too. I'll dig a bit into it today and see if I can get the same.

I had a fly of this baby last night.

 

I'm getting the same as reported in post one and when I lower full flap.

I've tested it more, it is caused by trim, when it is operating, as well as moving the stick, FPS drops from 60 to 20 for a second. Logs attached.

After to have upgraded my DCS to v1.5.3.51218.38 "STABLE" with my L-39C when I use trim up or down I have a freezes like you.

A future patch for fix this new problem ?

Finally had a chance to test it, can confirm the same thing happening. Barely noticing it, seems to skip just one frame and only the first time I input any of those commands... But it's there.

After a very very short flight with my L-39C I meet many freezes each time that I use my trim UP or Down.

I hope that all these data could help ED to find a solution because since the new upgrade: v1.5.3.51218.38 "STABLE" using the trims (UP or Down) create all these freezes. :helpsmilie:

I have noticed the same thing, in L-39 module only... when I trim (but not always) I notice little stutter, I don't see it again if I don't move my head in game and keep trimming, but I notice if I move my head around, and trim again after... the first time I press trim, again short stutter.

Just tested. Still there for me, though not surprising as it looks like this patch was to add compatibility for the A-10C BFT training campaign by Maple Flag Missions (I have bought their Su-27 missions before, top notch stuff).

 

Not sure if anything else was addressed in the patch, but this issue doesn't seem to have been.

Thanks for your feedback, for me I do not install this new patch because it's the second this week and nothing for L-39.

So just wait the next upgrade in few weeks...

The soonest it would be addressed would be the next patch. It'll go to the beta client first, and then 1.5 proper a few days after. If you all haven't, file a ticket about it with your specifications here to make sure they're aware:

Glad to help! I figured they knew about it, but anytime you experience an issue in game it pays to let them know just to be on the safe side! Sometimes you find things they weren't aware of.
