russian S-400 air defense system in dcs one day? Or is it the same as the 300?

S-400 has no present, diferent launch vehicles and missiles as S-300, similar situation as other S-300VM versions (old lomac Sa-12), old 3D missile models has present, but missing vehicles into DCS: W. expected ED add in the future.

DCSW doesn't even model the capabilities of the S-300 or the Patriot to their full extent, so a S-400 would be a waste of time IMO.

With a range up to 400km and maps with the size of around 600km x 600km - i don`t think it is a good idea.

Well, i'd say it shouldn't be totally out of the DCS picture, buuuuut a lot needs to come first before new stuff gets added IMO (all VL-missiles need improvements, Sa-15 Tor, doesn't have a realistic launch etc). S-300 we currently have is made out of like 12 polygons - in serious need of modernisation in terms of 3D modelling
