maxxykang312 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I've recently finished the Georgian hammer campaign and I have to say it's a fun experience but some support advance missions might need you to land and rearm because there's a lot of enemies to shoot down.

paulca Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I was about halfway through it when I went to the Enemy Within campaign. It alternates around "drop bridge, destroy artillery, support advance" a lot. The bridges and arty you can hit easily with guided bombs and go home. The support advance missions are much more tricky as the units advancing are usually made out of wet paper, so if you leave a single enemy tank alive it can wipe out the whole advancing group failing the mission. Also beware that if there are two stage objectives when you order the units to advance from the first objective to the second more units will spawn, including SAMs, AAA and bandits.

It does have considerable issues, some of the radio commands are bugged and will not activate the convoys, etc. As stated by others, I have a corrected version on the ED website, but it was tested in V1.216 and not the new v1.5, it is also a stand alone install, so it doesn't overwrite the existing campaign. Have a look at the ED site and the details of my version, as it highlights some of the work that was done to the campaign as a whole to fix all the issues, might help you make up your own mind whether to play it or not. Missions involved were Push-1-3, Push-2-1, Push-4-3, Push-10-1. Set A-10c skill level from excellent to Player Set advanced waypoint commands - Immortal to OFF Set Battle commanders - Game masters to OFF Cheers, Ian. That "Game masters" is from CA? I can't see any of that kind option. No need to remove anything from advanced waypoints, just make sure that the immortal setting was off. If they were all on player I must have edited it again after posting them, thanks for checking. Battle commanders is the 5th icon from MIS text on the ME panel down the left hand side, just make them all 0 if not already, makes no real difference if they are there anyway. Cheers, Ian. Hydrox Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 That "Battle Commanders" button was way too close for me to see it :doh:. Yes they were all off. Now my flight only has CAS & EPLRS in Adv.WPs. Like you said others wouldn't matter (except immortal), since I'm controlling the flight anyway.
