droopy114 Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Hi all. I play this sim mostly on 32'', native resolution 1920x1080. I've had recently the opportunity (thank's to an old friend of mine) to add a 2nd screen to my config, wich is 24'', 1920x1080 native resolution. My setup is the following: 32'': top 24'' : bottom No problem for configuring the screens with windows, everything is ok. Now the question(s): Is it possible with the M-2000 to set the top screen with the HUD view only and the second for the cockpit, i mean the gauges AND the console? My main objective is to have the gauges and all the clickable stuff easily readable/accessible. I know there are HELIOS/IKARUS/HAWG TOUCH available for this but i prefer ask before... thank you!
cichlidfan Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 No. It is DCS World that controls the views, not the module, btw. droopy114 Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Ok, thank you for your quick reply. So fingers crossed for a nice HELIOS profile someday...
BravoYankee4 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Hm... I'm pretty sure it is possible with multiple viewports and an exported HUD etc. However that would require a pretty good PC setup. I would try to do one viewport that is spanning over both monitors (though not exactly what you asked for).

I understand what Cichlidfan explain to me, and i'm aware that DCS can't handle different views at the same time in multi-monitors setup. If it's feasible, let me know.
Pikey Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Not entirely sure what is being asked but I spanned the main camera across a 1 up and 1 down config at different resolutions. Similar to picture below but in Mirage. It sounds as though you want to split the camera view into stationary views which doesn't make sense, maybe you could explain? ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

Yes maybe not very clear but it can be hard to explain when your english isn't perfect :) My setup look like your in the picture (the screens position), and i would like to set it as follow: -top screen: display HUD view (ALT+F1) -bottom screen: main panel, left/right console for easy access to the switch, better readibality of the gauges, with custom snapviews (let's say 3: left console/main panel/right console) I have a TIR, it's a great tool, but it can be a pain to press certains buttons and sometimes very jerky if FPS are low, but nice for A/A though. Of course the HUD view (top screen) have to stay this way, and controlable with TIR.... and i understand it's certainly not feasible. Not sure if it's clear now :) ......
