Hello,

 

I had hesitations before posting this message, but since this is the first mission I share with the community, I decided to open a thread for comments, suggestions.

i played but forgot to pick up medic so failed :D

gotta try again asap.

the only annoying part of the mission is weird fm signal sound. a radio tune would be better imo

Oh yes indeed the car horn is quite annoying ! my apologies. But I wanted to use a "core" sound of DCS so people could play the mission without having to download another sound. But perhaps I can improve with a better native sound. I will keep that in mind.

 

For the other comment: yes well... mind to pick up the Medical team (blue smoke north of WP1 if I remember well). This will enable the rest of the triggers and make the mission more dynamic.

Hey lipo, when you add a sound into the trigger the sound file is automatically uploaded into the .miz!

3rd party audio is totally fine :)

I've tryed the mission but I never found the wounded people I fly to the bridge with three tanks over and ennemy on the other side of the river but ther is nobody to bring :/. It's also impossible to order your wingman I did just following us. Do I something wrong? (Radio is on and frequency of the main base entered)

Hi Frank,

 

To finish the mission with all objectives completed, you need to do the following, according to the messages you receive in flight:

 

(-- spoiler below --)

 

1) at WP1, when overflying it, you will get a message telling you to pickup the medical team, North of your position. You need to seek the blue smoke and land there. Once this is done properly, you will get a message telling you the medical team is on board so you can proceed with the mission.

 

2) when getting closer to wp3 you will indeed see vehicles by the bridge and incoming enemies. There you need to land again and wait for confirmation message that the VIP is on board.

 

3) Just fly back to homebase and land there. If you completed (1) and (2) you will get the "mission completed message".

 

Hints: you can use ADF signal to reach the objective AFTER you have picked up the medical team at wp1. Frequency of the ADF is given during the mission.

I've received the message about ADF frequency on 50 MHZ but ADF is not working....

One of the problem it's that Idon't have any radiocommunication..... Why??? All radio are set on power and correct frequency too..

Hi Frank,

 

I said something wrong in my past message, my apologies. It is not an ADF but a FM emergency Beacon that I used in the mission. So you have to set your FM receiver to 50.00 in order to receive the beacon (see last screen shot).

 

To give you a help about the WP1 and WP3 goals, I added some screen shots below in the correct chronological order. I really hope this will help you.

 

Please let me know if the triggers worked for you aswell. I tested the mission this morning and all went fine.

The strange thing is that I don't have any radio capacity with some mission. All radio system are set on the right position and frequency I've tryed with and without "easyradio use" in setting menu and no more result... :/

Your wingman can receive orders and will follow them.

 

I am sorry for the radio issues you are experiencing Frank. Normally you would not need to change the radio frequency. But make sure your radio is set on the proper channel (rotary button) and also set on Transmit/Receive mode.

 

Other than that I cannot really give you more advice, I hope this will do.

I found how to contact Flight and wingman with the radio but no more success with the mission :( i've blue smoke for the medics, red smoke for the vip but when I land near the red one there is no action.

I have the same problem and i found how to slove it.

 

U need to land near the trucks on WP1 (blue smoke) and not near the blue smoke.

In Wp3 on the medic place. U need to land on the rear of the convoy abd not in front if the cnvoy.

 

Tray it.

 

About the redio ifound its work for me only when i use joystick triger and not with the / key.

For this time I don't have anymore message from the medics team but I've a error each time I' m exit DCS. Maybe a mod who's making trouble.... I'll see that

Good news I have succeeded in this mission :D and I think that the problem is coming of that the action aera are too small. If you're not right of the flightplan action of taking medics and VIP are not trigging. I've really loved this mission thanks Swiss Lipo for it ;)
