I was pretty disappointed when I first jumped into the cockpit thinking I was going to fire it up and blow up some B-52s in a couple of minutes. I'm pretty busy with work and family so I have precious little time to devote to flying. I've been in Rise of Flight and the new Il-2 series for a while now. I had DCS Black Shark 1 back in the day and loved it. I kind of dropped off the DCS radar for a few years because my rig couldn't run DCSW. I recently upgraded my rig and downloaded 1.5 and loved the Su-25T. I've been working with the MiG now for about a week. I can get it in the air and take down targets with guns and IR missiles. There is still a lot to learn but I have to say even with the difficulty I've had I keep coming back to it and find myself unable to fly any other modules. So I say thank you and great work in bringing an iconic aircraft to life. I can't wait for the Viggen!

I am in the same circumstance: work and family ground me a lot! But I keep coming back to the MiG-21bis. I've been playing around with it for over a year, and I have yet to be bored by it.

Learning the navigation system is fun too, by the way.

Yes! The most flown plane in my hangar! Insanely fun! And the feeling when you master the plane and its systems and finally touch down after a completed mission!

Well, I've seen so much nice words and praises for LN Mig-21 make me want to buy the module. Its too bad my budget is tight. Can't decide which one to buy between M2000, upcoming F-5E or MiG-21.....jeeeezz :D

Buy it! Learning to start up, take off, and land are themselves a lot of fun. Look at it this way: by the time you learn to do all of that, the radar bugs will be fixed! Plus, learning how to use the navigation features is fun too.

I know I sound like a fanboi, but it is a neat module.

I've gotten the landing down and it is awesome. Lately I've been chasing B-52s and chewing them up with guns. Since they are saying the radar is broken for now I think next I'm going to get into some ground attack. Also going to see how I do with skinning this thing.

The only thing that would make my all-time favorite sim ride better is a port-over into FSX or P3D. I'd be the first one to buy it, no matter what the cost. TAKE MY MONEY, LN!

I echo the thanks.

There is something really special about the module. It is so satisfying doing the simplest things, and I have yet to master any of the systems.

I really love the module, I haven't flown it as much as I think I should, but the more I do, the more fun it becomes. There feels to be a skill ceiling and I want to climb up it to become better, at least in air to air. great aircraft LN, love it and can't wait for your upcoming F-14!
