hansangb Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 For those of you with CV1, is there room on the nose bridge? Can you look down and sneak a peak through the nose bridge? SkateZilla Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Yes there is a gap, it's mentioned in nearly every video review, as Vive has the rubber nose seal Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
Chivas Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Yes, there is a nose gap depending on the size and breadth of your nose. Personally I don't want a nose gap, but its not an issue as I usually darken the room while in VR. If it was a problem it would be very easy to modify the nose gap to suit. It was probably a good idea for Oculus to incorporate the larger nose gap, as a pinched nose would be more annoying than the gap. Edited April 20, 2016 by Chivas
Jethro11 Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 it has a nose gap that really comes in handy for me. Not all my keys are bound to my hotas, so I need to see the keyboard sometimes, and that really helps/ You also barely notice it if you don't look down at it. Its good for reading my texts too :)
