I just sold my DK2 on Ebay in 5 minutes to a reseller for Buy It Now of $395. Basically what I paid for it 2 years ago, I couldn't bring myself to ask any more as I felt even that price was too much.

I saw someone on here contemplating a DK2.

On Ebay they appear to be selling for between 450 and 600.

For a device which has the following issues.

1. Oculus will only support for sure till end of 2016

2. You can no longer change the IPD if you are using 1.3 it seems to default to about 64mm, and you need 1,3 to play all the updated games including DCS

3. The DK2 is relatively delicate I babied mine for 2 years.

My advice is unless you can buy one for $250 pay the extra and get a CV1 , yes you are gonna have to wait but at the current prices you are buying a limited life item. Have some patience I am waiting till mid June and I pre ordered mine day one.

I sold the DK2 as my Vive arrives tomorrow, I was gonna just keep the 1st one to arrive but figure I may keep both now I sold the DK2.

I kept my DK2 in the box after each use. So it's pretty well protected. Was thinking of selling it now that I have my CV1.

The reason I'm thinking of keeping it is because it works on my laptops so I could show off the VR gear. Can't do that with a CV1. So we'll see.

I'd think those DK's are a peice of history. Might be worth mothballing for the future.
