Benefits of flying Gazelle

1. The rudder pedals are giving my legs a great workout, much better than any other aircraft. Sure bits the gym!

 

2. I have a couple other helicopters, one of them is Huey. I'm probably the worst heli pilot in DCS world, I've always found Huey extremely difficult to fly. Guess what, after spending some time with the Gazelle, the Huey suddenly become sooo easy. :D

Yep, this is a bit like bull riding after flying the Huey. Nonetheless, she's a Whrilybird! Woot! After a bit of updates, and user mods, she'll be even more awesome! :thumbup:

Then you should try flying the KA50 after you been flying the Gazelle, then you can talk about easy :)

The Gazelle's probably the most "fun" chopper in the game. The thing is so light that what would be crazy in the Huey or Mi8, is perfectly fine in the Gazelle. And the minimalist cockpit and systems makes the aircraft so much easier to learn.

 

Honestly, I always recommended the DCS Huey to anyone wanting to start out with Helicopter simulation (not just DCS but all simulation in general) but I may switch that to the DCS Gazelle.
