It appears from official commentary that they plan to bring it back. Some of us who have been using another program have been spoiled wink.gif

FYI, it still works (or now works) in the latest 1.5. Yay. Just waiting for 2.0 like everyone else.

It's the main thing stopping me using 2 at the moment. I just can't get the hang of this laser dot. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long.

I am not using 2 because of this feature that scrapped everything with the rift :( in the Mirage its hard or impossible to get some buttons unless your part of a circus acrobat :)

And, it's a good thing we are still reporting this feature that we dont like... to be sure they dont implement it in the next update. Stay with something that is working please. :) It was already awoesome as is ! no step back! :) eheh

Just a Reminder.

2.0 is an ALPHA, there will be several things that are experimental or WIP in 2.0

if you dont not wish to encounter bugs and WIP elements, then you would be happier running the Release or Open Beta 1.5 Version.

Yeah, we know it's ALPHA, that's why we are providing feedback. To maybe sway the developers in the direction we want before it's too late.

^It was just a reminder,

And It's been stated that a toggle option is being looked into.

Another thing about the mouse pointer which I'm using in 1.5 at the moment. It seems to be the case in all cockpits that where we I see the pointer rendered on the rift and I presume the same would happen on the vive is not the pointer actually is. In the sense that to click a switch I have to move the pointer to the side of the switch somewhere until it changes colour. Items near the center are fine but switches on the left side require me to move the cursor further left than the switch, and on the right hand side further right of the switch. Closing either eye doesn't seem to help so not sure if it's related to the distance at which the cursor is rendered or anything but it's a bit hit and miss trying to move the pointer over a switch that is offset from where you see it.
