Hi Alpenwolf I had the chance to try your mission this morning and it was daylight :) thanks.

 

I like the overcast wx and the new skins for the F5 Ive found that finding the APC around Nalchic challenging, nice touch.

 

A few things that I notice.

 

I was unable to load weapon on the Huey, no rocket nor guns nor fuel.

There is no A10A available

There is no AWACS not in game and no mention in the briefing.

"Yes, GCI and JTAG are included" Do you need to use combined arms to be GCI or have you finally fixed lotatc to the server?

All that you have mentioned has been fixed within an hour after mission's debut yesterday except for adding the A-10A. Haven't seen anyone flying it and I'd rather have 4 slots for the Viggen at Vody because it's more desired. Remember that Vody is smaller than Sochi and doesn't afford the capacity.

When the server is restarted manually today we'll have none of the issues mentioned above plus other things I've noticed myself.

Apparently the server's main admin hasn't approved of lotatc yet. So we're gonna have to live without it currently so yes you need combined arms.

Well I do fly it often if i am covered or alone but that's ok it's your server.

 

All the others that I noted, the awaks don't work and the none availability of refuel and rearm for the Huey as per right now @10:30 are not fix. And it is at night again

It is at night so it's still hasn't been restarted. Explains why some problems are still there. I thgouth I said that clearly in the previous post.

Alpenwolf, flied the mission shortly today and looks great, far better than previous obsolete setups.Great job.

 

But I have some remarks :D :

 

• Red Bulls( don't know about Blue) is far out of the theater of operations. I suggest you put it upon an RSBN station Nalchic or Mozdok so Migs can have a proper reference.
  
• Red AWACS is (A-50) first of all an airborne RU side breaks the immersion for me at the period of the theater. Ground based EWR is far better option for red (doesn't need refueling wpnt's and it's consistent) and for blue E2D. ex. todays flight was with both AWACS on ground. total disaster :doh:.
  
• Su-25t has no weapons limitations, I just blinded Blue side with a way too long salvo of 58's. 25U will do the job and will make it harder?
  
• CBU's and all the american nukes should be out of choise, plus weapons that entered service later than the theater of operation. AIM 9m(A-10c, Hawk)?? R-73's (25) ?? HAWK?
  
• HAWK..the dmg model of this atm "not flaming devs" is garbage and kills the game (had a fight once where the guy accepted this was unfair and landed a wingless ac on our base to end it..omfg)
  
• Last but not least, the sam coverage over main bases should be a little more "restricted" SA-6 today would not fire into enemy trespassing "lethal" airspace in their lethal range. Thank god S-19 where awake! :D
  

Just my two cents to make this mission really great, at least on my end, that is the direction. Your server serves us well so far! GJ! :thumbup:

Ok thanks for the reply. I own Combined arms and have tried GCI in it, but it is not a pleasant experience ;( Hope it comes soon. Until then I have to try the new mission, have loved all the previous ones :D

The server is during night again it is peak time evening in Europe and the server is empty, it's been like that for almost 3 weeks unless someone reset it. You now have 3 missions is it possible to have them run one after the other during the daytime hours of eight hour each 3x8=24? Like that we have a fully operational 24 hour server without the need to ask for reset.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate the new mission but I had way more play time before. The other server run mission back to back without trouble, there is surely a solution to the problem. I can only imagine Alpenwolf working his ass off into a immersive mission that we can barely enjoy

IronJockel is the only admin with the authority to access the server. I might be the second one if the ACG community approves. Until then it's only him and he's been away for 3-4 weeks now in South America with shitty internet connection. He logs in using his Smartphone to reset the server. He told me he'll be back this very weekend. And then there should be no excuse for him to have the server running like this. I think we all agree on that and him for sure.

Most planes we have have no NVG's there is no use to have mission that have 15 hours per day of complete darkness.

The latest mission has been completely updated. That leaves us with 3 missions with 3 different terrains and scenarios.

 

The idea of having each running for 6 hours (8 max) was accepted.

 

Only waiting on IronJockel to arrive today safely coming back from his long vacation to finally attend to the server.

Hmmm, that's weird. Normally this happens due to mods. Make sure they're all removed and the default settings are BACK. Repair if needed.
