104th_Cobra Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Upgraded to openbeta 1.5.4.54596.121. There's an arch on the plexiglas. Not using any mods. Any idea for what is causing it? Thanks. 104th Cobra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Blaze Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Probably an update to the new Mig external model and a part forgot to be added to the 114 cockpit visibility arg. I expect it to be fixed in the next update (probably). i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. SkateZilla Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Did you have any view mods installed? I'm not seeing any external model clipping, That looks more like the Set Point for the Cokpit is set inside the Nose of the external model. 104th_Cobra Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 Yeahh, I was suspecting that at some point I edited some *.lua file at /Users/user/Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Config/View That looks more like the Set Point for the Cokpit is set inside the Nose of the external model. If I delete the existing files, does it return to default files on repair/update? 104th Cobra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

104th_Cobra Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 That looks more like the Set Point for the Cokpit is set inside the Nose of the external model. You were right, after comparing with open_alpha file structure and deleting /Users/user/Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Config/View directory it was solved. Thank you guys. 104th Cobra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Knock-Knock Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I just had that happen with the F-15, when I removed the F-15's entry from my Saved Games server.lua With the entry back in, no arch (neck mod thing). - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
Knock-Knock Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Correction, I deleted from the wrong file. I removed it from the games original server.lua, and it did the above. When I remove from the Saved Games server.lua, it doesnt care. No wonder I cant get any results then. Anyway, I know this aint a F-15 thread, but since the problem was simular, I figured Id post it here. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
SuperKungFu Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I saw the same thing too, mainly because I was loading an old mission with the MiG-29, if it's a new mission then its gone. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
