I just had an encounter where M2000 could fly slower apparently without critical AoA compared to MiG-29S, with which I almost fell out of the sky... (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.) Mission: "To intercept and destroy aircraft and airborne missiles in all weather conditions in order to establish and maintain air superiority in a designated area. shagrat Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Simplified Flight Model (SFM) MiG-29 vs. External/Professional Flight Model (EFM) Mirage 2000C. The EFM interacts, with weather model, wind and environment, like real life. The SFM uses Tables with precalculated data to emulate what the plane should do when you move the stick. So you fly more like on rails... Whenever ED decides to give the MiG-29 a PFM like the F-15C and Su-27 did, you may start comparing... until then, it's like comparing an auto-scooter to a car and complain about the differences. ;) Just my two cent.
