The video depicts one of the rare days the sun was shining on Palace Barracks.. Hovering over Belfast was a constant for many years... and still not gone away yet... Good to see you back Flick..
HoneyBadger Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) My father was an RUC police officer that spent many hours in the co-pilot seat of Army Air Corps Gazelle's "sight seeing" around NI. He says it was the best part of his career. He's also been transported around in Lynx's and says Army Air Lynx pilots are insane with the stuff they pull off. I let him try out the Gazelle on DCS and he says (jokingly) that if he had known it was that sensitive to fly, he probably wouldn't have jump in them in real life. Edited July 16, 2016 by HoneyBadger
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 19, 2016 ED Team Posted July 19, 2016 (edited) I never got the opportunity to ride in a gazelle, wish I had. Most of the time it was lynx, puma, Chinook, or westland sea king, which I have to admit was my favourite and the most comfortable to be in the back of :) Edited July 19, 2016 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Strong 'you fix it... you fly in it' mentality. I flew once with a Gazelle display pilot, tried to make me throw up. :helpsmilie:Nope! i5/9600K wc, Z390XP, 32Gb/DDR4, 1080ti wc, 850 Evo SSD, TMWH, DSD FLT1, ORs.
