Voodooflies Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Good morning folks, I was wondering if the M-2000C has a trim reset functionnality as landing with asymetrical loadout or within certain conditions cause the master alarm and "DECOL" red warning to pop up once the nose wheel's on the ground due to a bad takeoff configuration because of the ailerons position. So what about it ? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Rlaxoxo Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Ya try using "Autopilot Standby" to reset trim Or click the trim reset next to the FBW gain switch (Not sure if it's working yet) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Youtube Reddit

I remember some people flaming me for asking a trim reset command, answered that the real 2000 does not have any trim reset (so go die casual gamer, we are not in FC3, etc etc.. )
Voodooflies Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) There is a trim reset switch on the 2000 ? I remember some people flaming me for asking a trim reset command, answered that the real 2000 does not have any trim reset (so go die casual gamer, we are not in FC3, etc etc.. ) The A320 for instance has a rudder trim reset, moreover the A10C as a trim takeoff button switch which can be considered as a trim reset. I'm unaware if the M2KC has a specific button for this or is it more like a workaround story, but I think so, for the sake of safety, this baby is still far from an old rusty warbird. Ya try using "Autopilot Standby" to reset trim Or click the trim reset next to the FBW gain switch (Not sure if it's working yet) Gonna try that ! Thanks. Kartoffel Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 That is a really sneaky place to put it War is easy and is just like riding a bike. Except the bike is on fire and the ground is on fire and you are on fire and you realise you are in hell :joystick:
Azrayen Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 There is no dedicated trim reset control. But two other features actually do a trim reset (so no need for a dedicated button). 1/ the practical one = the AP standby trigger (which IRL is pressed each time the pilot holds the stick). 2/ the not-so-practical one = the FBW reset pushbutton.

YoYo Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Hi, I dont see key bindings for FBW Reset Trimm in Controls (not this option). Frederf Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 Good morning folks, I was wondering if the M-2000C has a trim reset functionnality as landing with asymetrical loadout or within certain conditions cause the master alarm and "DECOL" red warning to pop up once the nose wheel's on the ground due to a bad takeoff configuration because of the ailerons position. So what about it ? Touch down on 2 wheels then press the autopilot standby lever. Takeoff trim will be applied so when nose wheel is lowered there is no alarm. If autopilot standby lever is held on initial touchdown lever will have to be released and reapplied to effect takeoff trim before continuing to nose wheel contact. 1
