I havent noticed wing tip vortices ever since i played DCS with the oculus rift, i like to know what turns on this effect.. Why Oculus Feels the Need to force teh Home Environment to Run for External Apps is beyond me. Every VR Game, Sim, App, Experience, Tech Demo I have is External, I literally have Home for No reason other than to use the Runtimes And APIs. None of the "Friends Lists" in Oculus, etc tell me anything other than So and So is playing... I can see when my squad is online via TeamSpeak Lobby and go from there. The Home program is absurdly intrusive. Contrast that with Steam where you never see it unless you want to see it.
