Jetstream! Great series on Canadian CF-18 pilot training

This great series is from a while ago back in 2008 and I remember watching in envy. I suspect most people outside Canada may have not heard about it but I found it to be a gem. The show follows rookie student pilots as they learn the CF-18 and obviously have a blast doing it. Even if your not Canadian, check it out if you have time. :thumbup:

Agreed, it's a great documentary, I totally enjoyed watching it. :thumbup:

 

Plus, Deputy Andy from Eureka/Major Lorne from Stargate Atlantis does a great narration. ;)

Turns out Captain Shamus "Carny" Allen is now the lead solo for the Snowbirds demo team! I just saw them at the Abbotsford airshow this past weekend, but sadly he wasn't there with them. They flew a slightly lopsided 8-ship routine.

 

Which was still amazing!

 

Anyway, I felt a little star-struck when I heard his name over the PA. :P

Saw that myself..Actually met one or was it two of those guys..A bunch of them were in halifax one night on a drunk..The one fella i briefly talked to was a prick..Had that "IM ALL THAT" personality..Guess he didnt learn how to turn it off in public..

I lost my respect for that fella real quick..

More often than normal I guess. I like it.
