hello,

a VR newbie question: what is the best way to interact with the radio menu in VR? Finding the appropriate F key isn't always easy with the rift on :smartass:

Thanks

I bound F-keys to my HOTAS. Got used to it this way. Voice Attack installed and configured, but don't like to use it...

I'm using a razer tartarus chroma keypad, to which I bound them all. And the thumb nubbin is the numpad (for panning external views). I also stuck textured children's stickers to certain keys so I can tell where my hand is sitting.

Oh and numpad 5 (recenter vr view) is on the extreme pinky bottom end. And backslash is the top pinky, to bring up or exit the radio. Problem solved!

That would be good that DCS could allow to move in comm menu with hotkeys like up/down, so we could bind it on a HAT...

Voice attack is maybe good, but not useable to play at night...

Or just enabled a mouse usage...

Yes, if you could just pop up the radio menu and click on the commands that would be perfect.

Agreed, I can't see why the comms switch on the Warthog throttle couldn't be used for moving up and down in the menu and then pressing for the selection. Would be so easy that way. Anyone from ED able to comment on whether or not this would take much to implement? It would add a huge amount to the VR and normal users as well.
