Kei Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 I'm confused about my PC's errors while I'm playing DCS. When I had ended several tens of minutes'flight,the debriefing screen was not displayed. In other words, DCS froze. I had to use Task Manager to terminate DCS. Please help me. DCS version:1.5.4.55952 PC specification CPU:Intel® Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz Mainboard:H61M/U3S3 RAM:16GB video chip:GTX960
Ramsay Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 If some missions end correctly, and others freeze - I believe there is bug in the current build, when playing more than one mission consecutively. Open DCS -> play mission -> Close DCS, is error free. Not AFAIK, you could roll back to last official stable version 1.2.16, if not flying one of the newer modules, but almost no one does that, as most servers are on 1.5/2.0 and there are performance gains for most people with 1.5. You can also use DCS_Updater.exe to roll back to a previous 1.5 version, if there is a version without the bug but would of course break MP compatibility with newer versions. Otherwise we need to wait for ED's next patch and see if it has been fixed. No, the multi-mission freeze happens for me as well, I live with it because I play some MP and the last patch brought Gazelle multi-crew.
