Pocket Sized Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) DCS 1.5.4.56500 Update 5 I lock a target with the Schavcklvlaul (sorry I had to) with the laser enabled and switch to the inner pylons. The pipper for the gundpods shows up on the HUD and I get C (launch authorized). But the pipper is off by as much as 5 or 6 degrees. Just wondering if I'm making a common mistake or if I need to start making tracks/videos tonight. Edited September 17, 2016 by Pocket Sized DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. flanker0ne Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Did you set the correct ballistic settings on the UG-MB panel?? SCOPRI DI PIU': https://www.amvi.it/joinus.php DISCORD COMBINEDOPS The Battle Planning Tool
Pocket Sized Posted September 16, 2016 Author Posted September 16, 2016 Did you set the correct ballistic settings on the UG-MB panel?? Therein lies the "common mistake" line. I thought that only applied to rockets? Assuming we're talking about the same panel. 1 DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule. Sryan Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 It needs to be on "5" for the gunpods. It's not only for rockets, it can calculate for the gunpods and even for bombs. Check my F-15C guide
Mad Dog 7.62 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Wow I haven't flown the Shark much in a while, but I think I remember that the sim will by default set if for whatever is loaded on the outer pylons? Pocket Sized Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 The load out I was using was 12x Guided rockets (still can't spell the damn name properly) on the outer pylons and gunpods on the inners. I tried flipping the knob to 5 and they worked perfectly. It's really surprising how accurate they are. DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.
