Kitsune85 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi, sorry if this has been covered already and I didn't look hard enough. I'm having a problem since a couple of updates ago on DCS 2 where it crashes to desktop every time I try to fly the Ka-50. It only does this if I am the pilot, I can still load with AI Ka-50's and reverting to a previous game version resolves the issue, though I then loose everything in the updates. I am not having the problem with DCS 1.5, it's working fine, only DCS 2. It gets about 75% through the loading screen and then crashes. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

SkateZilla Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi, thanks for the help, enclosed is the info you asked for. Did you uninstall all the mods you have before updating? 1 Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
Kitsune85 Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 No, I've uninstalled and re installed the Ka-50 module to no effect, should I uninstall all 'unofficial' mods and re update?
Kitsune85 Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 I uninstalled all the mods and ran the repair program, it now works! Thanks very much for the suggestion, I'll remember it before updating in future! Thanks again!
SkateZilla Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 No problem, Please Remember to Disable/Uninstall any Unofficial Mods before updating, (All them Make Flyable Aircraft using default cockpits etc etc). As they will cause conflicts with the updater.
