Hey,

As per title - no matter what I do I can't make the AI to taxi and take off from 21L or R runway. Also, if I try to take off with the wingman, he will taxi to 03R and won't follow me. I tried different wind settings (which are obvious for making the AI choose the correct runway), but it didn't work. Has anyone else noticed that?

I think both. ATC never tells me to use 21, no matter how strong the winds. And my wingman will disregard where I am going and will always taxi to 03.

Will they change runways at other airfields in 2.0 based on wind?

I suspect something with ATC, just a question of whether it only affects certain airbases. Maybe a bug or maybe intentional...isn't TO direction at Nellis restricted in RL?

I have a vague memory of reading that somewhere. Could just be full of you-know-what though.

I think so far ATC for Nevada is incomplete and so far they're using "Standard" departure setting e.g. Takeoff 03, Landing 21.

Yeah, it seems so. I've spoke to Doughboy who served there and he says that quite often they would take these runway headings despite of the winds to avoid overflying the heavily populated areas. Which makes sense.

Viper - no matter what wind settings, AI will always go to 03L. And ATC will direct players there.

We need that for the training campaign for A-10C in Nevada. First mission almost done.. 350 voiceovers in this one :music_whistling:

At the moment, the only way to know is taxi to one runway, ask for takeoff clearance and depending on if you receive it or not, you know if you're in the right place. Then remember it for all the next missions.

Lol something tells me that not the official procedure . Yeah ATC always been wonky. I usually just disregard it completely and act like i am at an uncontrolled airfield. Not great for immersion but o well. Hope the new ATC system ED's working on (I think there still on it?) will improve things.
